Oral Hygiene

Toothpastes And Mouthwashes

Toothpastes and mouthwashes are used in daily oral hygiene as brushing supporting agents.

Proper brushing is essential and the brushing technique and the number of times you brush your teeth are more important than the toothpaste and mouthwash you use.

Periodontology is the Dentistry's speciality that treats the diseases of gums and bones around the teeth.

The patients that have or had this type of disease are subject to it again, so a follow-up by these specialists is essential during control appointments which will prevent the disease's resurgence.

Fixed Prosthesis

Crowns and Bridges

Both crowns and bridges are fixed prosthesis treatments.

Unlike removable prostheses, which can be removed and cleaned on a daily basis, crowns and bridges are fixed to teeth or implants and can only be removed by the Dentist.

When the Dentist performs a restoration, they remove the cavity area, by cleaning the affected area and then filling that cavity with a restoring material.

The materials for restorations can be gold, porcelain, compound resins (with different tones) and the amalgam (a mixture of mercury, silver, copper, tin and sometimes zinc).
